The driving force behind the lifestyle institution Good Earth, which has become a brand synonymous with contemporary home décor, Simran Lal’s first design was a hand painted soup bowl with dragonflies. With design in her DNA, she describes her style as being relaxed chic and authentic. Inspired by nature and Indian culture, if she could exchange a day in her life, she would do so with Howard Carter, the English archaeologist and Egyptologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Simran has two projects that she dreams to complete: One is to design and build their headquarters and second is to design a boutique hotel. She has recently opened Nicobar, a modern design store in Mumbai.
