With monsoon in full swing, we’re thinking of a sunnier respite - perhaps along Bondi beach, bumping Boy & Bear, Australian indie-rock band that hits an upbeat chord with Mexican Mavis. Nostalgia is always welcome, and the song’s video coupled with lead singer David Hosking’s, Clark Gable-esque voice result in a straight-up slice of yesteryear.
