The details

Look close: roses and anar on black

A split neckline and three-quarter raglan sleeves keep the long shape clean. Silver sequins are lifted around the neckline, a small flash of light. Antique gold twisted loop lace finishes each sleeve.

Rose and anar buttis are embroidered across the front and back, in many colours.

Craftsmanship

Cotton silk, gold foil dots

It begins with the cloth: 85% cotton and 15% silk, smooth and lightweight, in deep black. Gold foil dots are spaced across the body and set close on the sleeves. The raglan seams are joined with red thread fagotting, and the roses and anar are embroidered in colour against the dark.
