The details

Look close: red beads at the neck

A V-neckline, then pleats at the front that give the shape its movement. Red three-bead details dot the neckline, a small flash against the stripes. Full sleeves, and side pockets for the practical among us.

Gold foil buttas are scattered across the stripes and catch the light as you move.

Craftsmanship

Cotton silk, gold foil, twisted lace

It begins with the cloth: 85% cotton and 15% silk, smooth and lightweight, striped in green and blue. The buttas are laid on in gold foil, so they glint when you move. Where the cuff joins the sleeve, there is a row of twisted loop gold lace.
