The details

Turn around: a silver zardozi fish

A classic collar and full cuffed sleeves on a loose, easy shape. Red thread fagotting runs along the shoulder and armhole seams, a fine line of colour against the black. Fabric shell buttons with gunmetal rings close the front and cuffs.

Craftsmanship

Metallic tissue, red fagotting

It begins with the cloth: metallic tissue, 74% metallised fibre and 26% cotton, with a soft sheen that shifts as you move. The fish at the back is worked in silver zardozi. Along the seams, red thread fagotting joins panel to panel with an open, handmade-looking stitch.
