The details

Look close: pintucks down the front

Pintucks run down the front, giving the classic shape a vertical rhythm. A regular collar and full sleeves keep it familiar. Purple shell buttons with gunmetal rings finish the front and cuffs.

Craftsmanship

Cotton silk, a red tulip in thread

It begins with the cloth: 85% cotton and 15% silk, smooth, with a polished finish. The pintucks are stitched in close, even rows across the front. On the back, a red tulip is embroidered at the centre of the moon patch, finished with one gold zari dot.
