A mandarin collar and full sleeves on a clean, regular fit. A silver sequin flower sits on the underplacket, beside teal and gold zari tape. Grey shell buttons finish the front.

Yarn-dyed cotton checks, cut to play

It begins with the yarn: 100% cotton, dyed before it is woven into berry and lime checks. The checks are cut in different directions across the body, back yoke and cuffs, so the pattern keeps shifting. Sequins, beads and zari are added in small flashes.
