The details

Look close: tie-ups at the side

A V-neckline and three-quarter sleeves, on a long, regular shape. The sides are finished with tie-ups. At the sleeve hem, a line of gota adds a small glint.

Small flowers are embroidered all over, front to back.

Craftsmanship

Cotton silk, embroidered all over

It begins with the cloth: 85% cotton and 15% silk, with a light, fluid fall, in deep purple. Floral embroidery covers the whole kurta, giving the colour a layered texture. Most of it is gold, with a flower in pink or blue here and there.

  • The all-over floral embroidery gives the deep purple base a softly layered texture, with the pattern continuing across the kurta for a considered finish.
