The details

Turn around: an Anaar Patra at the back

The stripes run straight down the body, then change direction at the cuffs, which are cut on the bias. Red thread fagotting follows the shoulder and armhole seams. Roll a sleeve and a flash of pink print shows inside.

Craftsmanship

Metallic tissue, stripes on the bias

It begins with the cloth: metallic tissue, 74% metallised fibre and 26% cotton, striped in many colours with a soft, reflective finish. The cuffs are cut on the bias, so the stripes turn where the sleeve ends. Red thread fagotting joins the shoulder and armhole seams, a line of texture against the shine.
