The details

Lift the lid

The brushed brass lid and its ring pull.

Brushed brass, with a ring pull at the centre: one finger lifts it.

The small dragonfly set into the brass lid.

A small dragonfly sits below the ring, easy to miss until the light catches it.

The open box lined with a striped napkin, brass tongs on top.

A candy stripe napkin to wrap the rotis in, and brass tongs to serve them with.

The banded wooden base meeting the brass rim.

Wood in banded tones. It resists heat, so the box is easy to hold and pass down the table.
