Shipping and Returns

We ship through registered courier companies for orders within India as well as abroad.

International orders are usually delivered within 7 business days and domestic orders within 6 business days. Please note that Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not set as working days for standard deliveries.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping and handling rates vary based on the product, its size and volume, the packaging used and the shipping destination. You will see the final shipping and handling charges at the time of checkout after you provide the shipping address for your order.

ORDERS WITHIN INDIA

1. Nicobar offers free shipping on all orders whose total (the sum of product price net of discount) is above Rs. 15,000.
2. Nicobar offers free shipping for individual product whose value (net of discount) is above Rs 7,000.
3. Any part cancellation or refund of the order may attract shipping charges on the balance order.
4. We’re also offering new shipping prices on all orders, whatever the amount. For a detailed look into our new shipping policy, please refer to the slab below:

DUTIES & TAXES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order, and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported. You will need to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency (DHL, FedEx etc.) at the time of your order delivery after you receive an invoice by the shipping agent.

SHIPPING OF PRODUCTS

All orders are processed from our own warehouse in Faridabad, India. Orders will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at checkout.

NON-AVAILABILITY ON DELIVERY

Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three times before they return it to us. Please provide the complete & accurate shipping address including zip code and a mobile number. This will help us in delivering your order faster.

MODES OF PAYMENT

For shipping to India, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) and also provide Net Banking options across major banks. For all international transactions, we accept major Credit Cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) and also provide the option to pay using PayPal. PayPal and PayU are our third party payment gateways.

RETURNS

NICOBAR endeavours to ensure that every transaction at our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards.

As a policy, we do not offer returns or exchanges on products which are delivered in perfect condition as per the order placed. If you’ve had an incorrect product delivered to you (product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation), if you find that you’ve made an error with size (for clothing), or if the product you receive has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect then we will be happy to exchange your product for a replacement.

Only clothing can be exchanged (within 14 days). Other products cannot be exchanged for reasons other than the above. If you’ve received a defective product, we will be happy to, following a quality check, offer you a refund which will be processed in 7 working days.

To return or exchange a product or report any damages in transit please get in touch with our customer care within 48 hours of delivery at +91 8588000150 / +91 8588000151 from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (IST) or email us at care@nicobar.com with your order number, date of transaction, delivery address and an image of the wrongfully delivered or defective item. Our customer care team will look into the issue and respond to you within 48 working hours. We typically make a reverse pick-up within 2-3 days.

Given the nature of our products, we reserve sole discretion to provide resolution as we deem fit. Every return or exchange request is treated as an individual case. We are unable to offer refunds if we’ve been given an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or if there are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.

International Orders: if a customer refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and doesn’t collect the order from our Shipping agency, Nicobar will not be liable for a refund.
