When we launched a year ago, a cotton maxi dress with a wrap V neckline, two-button closure at the waist, and a front slit for a little extra legroom (in a black and white polka print) was the first to sell out. There on out we’ve called it The Nico Dress.

Perfect for brunch, for a party, or for Wednesday, the Nico dress is the ultimate desk-to-dinner piece, and looks especially great when you move. The sheer, long sleeves are super flattering, and the skirt is fully lined, and we loved it so much that we’ve revisited it a few times, in a soft check, in a clean stripe, in a solid fuchsia and lush indigo, and more.

At the very beginning, creating a modern way of looking at everyday essentials was at the heart of what we did. This roomy form-flatterer does it all. It is our hardest working dress, with eyelet button closures that wrap snugly around the waist and a length that grazes ankles, allowing for sexy billowing when worn as a dress, or a flattering overlay when layered over something else.The Nico Dress in solid indigo (here), is also available in solid fuchsia.
